Loved the stylish decor and homely feel to the place. Was lovely coming back from a rainy day and having a log fire to cosy up to. The sofa was very comfortable! There were so many places to eat in Hebden Bridge, so we didn't need to use the oven...

This is such a gem of a house tucked away in a quiet area yet only two minutes walk to the shops. The interior is so bright, fresh and clean and decorative extras give a real homely feel. The presence of slippers encourages people not to wear...

Lovely traditional property, spotlessly clean. So convenient for the town and the numerous bars and restaurants yet in a quiet location. Good communication from the hosts and handy extras like tea, coffee and milk.

The Cobbles has everything you need for a relaxed stay, just a 2 minute walk to the very centre of Hebden Bridge. With a cosy woodburner, stylishly decorated, quiet location with on street parking & easy access using the key safe . The area is full of character: cobbled streets, traditional stone built houses over 100 years old & the location of filming for Happy Valley staring Sarah Lancashire. The house is over two floors. On the ground floor is the very comfortable living room with a large corner sofa, small woodburning stove, dining table with two dining chairs (extra folding chairs are provided) and Smart TV. We aim to leave firelighters, bags of kindling and wrapped logs, and ask you to simply replenish before you leave, as they can be purchased at local shops. The small kitchen has everything you need: microwave, oven, 4 ring induction hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, and storage space for your supplies. We provide a range of teas, coffees, milk and basics such as salt, pepper, cooking oil and butter. On the first floor is the bedroom furnished in a Victoriana style, with king sized bed, wardrobe and drawers for your use. The spacious bathroom has an over the bath shower.
My partner and I take our bikes with us on EVERY holiday.... Sri Lanka being a favourite but also places such as Cambodia, Thailand, New Zealand and not forgetting the amazing cycling and beauty nearer to home in Scotland. Until recently we ran our bike shop and Cafe Lounge combo, The Bicycle Den, in Hebden Bridge. Feel free to contact us via the messaging system or via our phone details of which are provided prior to your arrival. We live locally in Hebden Bridge so can be on hand if needed. You can arrive anytime after check in as you let yourself in using the key stored in the Keysafe.
The Cobbles is on a terraced street, only 2 mins from the centre of Hebden Bridge and all the shops, cafes and bars. On street parking is usually available outside the house. Its just a 10 minute walk to the train station. As a town of independent shops, cafes, pubs and art galleries Hebden Bridge is full of unique experiences. With festivals every month, open mic in many pubs, storytelling for adults at the Stubbing Wharf, antique shops, fabulous markets, Local History Society talks, yoga classes, bong classes, plenty of alternative therapists, Sunday open jam sessions in the Baptist Church, the list is endless. The town sits at the base of the valley, surrounded by moors, woodland and hill top villages. Located at the junction of 3 rivers it also has a canal running through it. It’s a conservation area with historical cobbled streets, old bridges and mills and networks of steps and ginnels. Todmorden, Halifax ( home of Anne Lister) and Howarth ( Bronte Sisters) are all nearby. A welcome folder in The Cobbles will include tips on places to visit, eat, walk, cylce or swim!
