Company information

Myself and my wife recently moved to the highlands after spending 16 years living overseas. We have 2 children and the main reason for our move was for a change of lifestyle and a love of the great outdoors. We love hiking, kayaking, mountain biking and cycling, climbing munros and trail running. We are happy to provide you with ideas and recommendations as to what to do and where to go whilst you are staying. Should you have any questions or require any assistance as to what to do whilst staying please do not hesitate to ask. We live 20 minutes away from the apartment near Dingwall however should you have any issues please do not hesitate to give us a call and we will try our best to make your stay as enjoyable and rewarding as possible. Property information

A newly renovated apartment in a quiet but convenient location with a great view over the River Coltie and a short stroll to a great pub that serves food all day. The apartment has 1 double room (Sleeps 2 adults), a second bedroom with 2 bunks (Suitable for children and smaller adults only) and one large pull out sofa bed in the living room which will sleep 2 adults. The apartment has a private balcony with seating and a gas BBQ for guest use, we would however ask that if you use the BBQ please leave GBP10 to cover gas and the extra cleaning required to ensure it is left clean for the next guest. We provide a travel cot (But not bedding) for use by guest along with a high chair (Children under 2 stay free). There is a stair gate upstairs but not at the bottom of the stairs.

Neighbourhood information

A nice quiet location in a small village next to the River Coltie. Easy access to Loch Ness, Glen Urqhart Castle, the surrounding region and tourist attractions. The apartment is located approximately 300m from a great pub that serves food all day and a 5 minute walk from a Scotmid Co-Op that sells a good rage of food and essentials with a ATM machine etc. It is close to the start of the Affric Kintail Way and also close to the route of the Great Glen Way. In addition to this there are some great hikes that can be done directly from the apartment without the need to get into the car to suit all abilities. Drumnadrochit has a range of tourist facilities including a Nessie Centre, Tourist Information, Cafes and Restaurants. There is a bus stop close to the end of the road with services between Fort William and Inverness; there area is however quite rural and the use of a vehicle is recommended.
