There are 2 lovely bedrooms (a double bedroom and a twin bedroom which can be converted into a Queen or single bedroom) and a bathroom at the top floor (2 floors) of my Victorian house. They share the bathroom. However, if only one bedroom is booked then that room will have the sole use of the bathroom.
I am French and have lived in the UK for over 33 years. I lived mainly in London and over a year I moved to the Lake District to become a Mountain Leader. I love the outdoors, cooking and gardening. I am keen to help local charities as well so, I have decided to donate 5% of the profit of each booking to the Penrith Mountain Rescue Team.
My Victorian house is located in the sought after New Streets conservation area. It is a 5 minute walking distance to the entrance of Beacon Park and a 10 minute downhill walk to the town centre with all its amenities including train & bus stations. Penrith is on the Coast to Coast and John O'Groats to Lands End cycling routes and just outside The Lake District National Park for outdoor activities as well as visiting historical places.
