We have lived in Deal for a while now, having come 'down from London'. We love living here and want to share everything we love about Deal and the surrounding area. We worked in the rail industry before taking on Number One and have experience of dealing with people.

Property information

Number One is a Victorian villa located in the Middle Street conservation area just off the town’s sweeping seafront. With stylish and modern accommodation, award winning breakfasts, excellent service and luxurious extra touches, we aim to make your stay in our house as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Whether you’re staying in Deal on business, for a special occasion, visiting for golf, the Kent coast’s many other attractions or simply fancy a break away from it all – Number One is the perfect place to stay.

Neighbourhood information

Deal has a fantastic promenade along the seafront, suitable for long or short walks, cycling and running. There is Deal castle, built by Henry VIII, its bigger sister at Walmer with fantastic gardens and the remains of Sandown castle, now a community garden. Just up the road is Dover castle and in the opposite direction is Richborough Roman fort. We are surrounded by history and as we are in the Garden of England, there are many farms and orchards in the area too. The town's motto is 'Befriend the Stranger' and you will find the town very welcoming with many independent shops, bars and restaurants.
