I have looked after holiday lets for the last 10 years within Holmfirth and on the East Coast in Sandsend and Whitby. I have always worked in hospitality since being young so I always like to provide an attentive service to people and make sure that they have a throughly enjoyable stay. If you need anything whilst staying with us I will do what I can to make this happen. I have always loved quirky spaces and glamping so this is why we set up Oak and Stars. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Property information

Oak and Stars is a private cosy shepherds hut for 2 with woodfired hot tub. Nestled away in a wooded enclosed area that is not looked upon by anyone. Close to local farm shops, cafes, bars etc if required. BBQ on site. Cosy fire pit corners with sofa. Lit up at night with festoons and fairy lights. Beautiful views across the valley. Parking on site.

Neighbourhood information

Honley is the closest village (10 minute walk) - 3 minute drive. There are local shops, cafes, Grocery stores, takeaway places, restaurants all within Honley. If you wish to visit Holmfirth, we advise to park in the local Co Op car park and walk through the park to the market town where you will find beautiful shops, cafes, bars, restaurants. Home to the Last of the Summer Wine country! The walks around the area are stunning from hikes on the pennines to strolls by Magdale dam there is something for everyone.
