The spacious apartment is the on the first floor of a purpose build building established by a painter&decorator in 1899. The apartment comprises a comfortable lounge, with sofa bed if required, a large family kitchen; dining room and a separate luxury bathroom. There are three bedrooms; the master bedroom is a double with an en-suite bathroom at the front of the apartment and the two identical twin bedrooms are situated at the rear with country views. The second of the twin bedrooms is accessed from the lounge. The fully enclosed back garden with scrubs and fruit trees has a large patio area with garden furniture. A shed is available for bike storage if required, it also contains a chest freezer for the catch of the day. Free parking is always available on the High Street outside Oakbank.

We fell in love with village of Edzell many years ago and bought our own retirement home here in early 2000. The village of Edzell is quite small with only about 700 inhabitants, but it somehow manages to have all the amenities one requires right on your doorstep. Quite rare these days in rural communities. The area is also ideal for a variety of outdoor pursuits, not to mention historical sites and general scenery. We are very keen golfers ourselves, and having this amazing golf course within walking distance is just suburb. Therefore we thought if we love Edzell so much for what it has to offer, surely other visitors would do too!? Hence we created Oakbank as a vacation rental, so that many visitors can enjoy Edzell, the Glens and the wider area. We hope you will love it as much as we do!
