Offa’s Dyke Lodge in Gladestry provides a relaxing sanctuary where you can rest-up in peaceful surroundings with pollution-free clean air and the unspoilt beautiful countryside, instantly giving you a feeling of well-being. The beautiful outdoor heated swimming pool offers you a special area for relaxation. Offa’s Dyke Lodge is conveniently situated for walkers as it is situated directly on the Offa’s Dyke Path, so no extra walking to reach your destination! We are located in the village and only a two minute walk to the local Pub. Offa's Dyke Lodge is a large bungalow, each B&B room has its own private entry via a garden terrace where each room has an outside table and chairs.
We are from the local area and have good knowledge of the locality and can help with recommendations for activities, places to eat etc. We enjoy walking and have completed several long distance paths. We offer a friendly, comfortable place to stay and we provide home cooked healthy food using local produce. We can cater for individual dietary requirements on request. We can provide packed lunches and evening meals (48hrs notice required).
Being directly on Offa's Dyke Path makes our B&B an ideal place from where to explore the locality. We are at the foot of Hergest Ridge which provides a lofty scenic walk and the Radnor Forest is just around the corner. The circular Sustrans Cycle Route 825, known as the Radnor Ring, runs through the village. (We can safely store bikes).
