Egerton stands on a 350 ft ridge of Greensand 9 miles northwest of Ashford and has some of the most magnificent views across the Weald of Kent and Ashford valley. Egerton is the perfect place for long country walks, with ample cycling routes on your doorstep, or a trip to the seaside isn't far away with Hythe being only a 30-minute drive away, which has the lovely towns of Sandgate and Folkestone nearby also. If you are looking for nearby activities Port Lympne Wild Animal Park is a favourite and the world-renowned Sissinghurst Castle Gardens are easily accessible by car.
