Oranmore is run by Gerard and Fiona Mclarnon, with many years and experience of the hospitality business. Our restuarant offers a wide selection of fine traditional home cooked dishes with many of the ingredients coming from our own vegetable garden. Head chef Fiona Mclarnon presents seasonal menu's throughout the year providing a relaxing culinary experience.

Property information

One of ballymena's unique finest country houses, set on its own grounds. Oranmore is located within half a mile walking distance from the town centre and a simple ten-minute walk from local train and bus station. Oranmore is a large exquisite Victorian house built in the late 1800's and completely refurbished in 2005 to its former glory. As the exclusive building is set in a truly satisfising ambiance this makes an ideal location to reside for a long or short stay. We offer a range of high-quality accommodation with each room having its own individual character.

Neighbourhood information

Oranmore is located in a private and quiet area of the well known Galgorm road of Ballymena. The village of Galgorm and Gracehill is within walking distance of Oranmore and the well known golf course at Galgorm Castle hosting the NI open. The nearby maine river flows through the village of galgorm and is a ideal spot for fishing. Dog Policy We are happy to welcome well-behaved dogs to Oranmore House. Please note that we allow one dog per booking, and you must inform us at the time of booking if you plan to bring a dog. This policy helps us prepare for your stay and ensures a comfortable experience for all our guests — both two-legged and four-legged! If you have any questions about bringing your dog, feel free to contact us in advance.
