Lance and Emma would like to offer you a warm welcome to Orchard House Bed & Breakfast! Our large, comfortable, family-run bed & breakfast is tucked away in a peaceful location on the outskirts of Portree, the capital of the Isle of Skye. Located in a quiet residential area, just a 15 minute walk (1km) into Portree town centre, Orchard House B&B makes the perfect home base to get out and about and explore this beautiful and unique island. Open for business since January 2017, Orchard House Bed & Breakfast currently has four light and spacious guest bedrooms, (one on the ground floor) featuring solid oak beds, comfortable mattresses, with fresh, white bedlinens, solid oak dressing tables/desks with large wall mirrors, and Sony smart televisions. The complimentary hospitality tray has tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits, while the mini-fridge has chilled bottled water and fresh milk, perfect for a refreshing wee snack after a busy day! The ensuite bathrooms are bright and roomy with power showers (or a soaking tub,) plenty of hot water, complimentary toiletries, and fresh white, fluffy towels. And free Wifi!
Orchard House Bed and Breakfast is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, tucked away up a hill on the outskirts of Portree in the former gardens of the old MacDonald hunting lodge (now a luxury 4-star Hotel with a fantastic restaurant and bar) with views south towards the rugged Cuillin Hills and open croftland to the north.
