Both Jason and I enjoy the range of activities available in and around the area The walks on the moors and coastal paths, horse riding along the beaches and on the moors, taking our grandchildren to different attractions around the area , surfing and body boarding and making sand castles on the beaches, relaxing and enjoying a meal with friends old and new in the local pubs and restaurants or simply sitting in our garden with a book and enjoying the views and sounds of the river.

Orchard House a perfect setting for your stay in Lynmouth a grade 2 listed licensed hotel full of warmth and character Orchard House is situated at the foot of Watersmeet Valley with its walks and about 50yds from the coastal paths Tarka Trail and Two Moors Way in close proximity to the village shops pubs restaurants and beaches of Lynmouth. Orchard House has a residents bar well stocked with local ales wines and soft drinks A residents lounge with a log burner for those chillier days and gardens to sit and relax on those summers evenings with a cold drinks from the bar not forgetting the hot tub which is always ready for your use We have bikes available free of charge. In the dinning room we provide a hearty breakfast (no one need get up from our table hungry !!) providing for vegetarians gluten free and any other dietary requests fresh fruit salad, freshly baked croissants full English breakfast using nothing but the best bacon eggs and sausages from the local farm teas coffee and toast You can also book one of our evening meal specials packed lunches or even a picnic basket to take to the beach Families and pets are welcome at Orchard House .
