Nestled in 50 acres of mature apple orchards this is a beautiful natural landscape that provides interest all year through. A pond on the property has resident mallard, teal & water hens. A wooded area is home to rabbits, pheasants, buzzards and foxes. The orchard's abundant wildlife provides a continuous flow of curiosity to all visitors.
Desmond has been growing and managing these orchards for over 50 years. The Bramley apple has become synonymous with the locality, gaining PGI status in recent years. The family have recently launched several ciders and products from the farm that are available in the locality.
Situated close to the village of Moy, Rose's Apple Farm has a central and favourable proximity to all of the amenities and attractions around nearby and afar. The village of Moy boasts an interesting central tree lined market square twinned with Bosco Marengo, Northern Italy, following a visit by the First Earl of Charlemont in the mid-18th century. The historic city of Armagh, with many tourist attractions is only 5 miles south of the property. Several significant National Trust properties are within easy reach of the accommodation.
