The house is almost 200 years old, but has been renovated inside and looks fresh and bright. 5 minutes walk from local park and amenities, town centre is 10 minutes walk away There is a separate entrance to our home stay room, which allows you to be self contained away from the main property, the main property is not accessible from the home stay. There is a self contained terraced area with seating just out side the entrance to the room. Included is a kitchenette area to prepare your own meals, disposable cutlery and crockery is provided. Through cleaning of the room after each stay There is an excellent pub which serves freshly made pizza takeaways literally 1 minute walk away. There is an enclosed dog friendly patio with out door seating if you want to bring along your well behaved 4 legged friend. ( this facility is by arrangement with the host) The room in located in the basement of the property and there is a flight of stairs to access so not suitable for people with mobility problems. Amenities with additional charges which can be arranged directly with the host BBQ & Burgers & salad Parking permit for local parking scheme
Hi my name is Denise your host. I am semi retired Nhs worker and would love to welcome you to my home. I enjoy being a host and get to meet all sorts of people from all over the world, coming for anything from a business trip, job interview or short break in the UK. I enjoy walking, platies, eating rather than cooking (if you have tasted my cooking you will know why!) 2 adorable beagles live hear too and would love to be stroked by you if you have a spare moment while you are visiting.
The town has a great Treacle Market the last Sunday of each month, with hot food stalls, farm produce, quirky products, handy crafts, music and much more well worth a visit We are close to the peak district and have lots of lovely walks, just ideal to take a picnic nick to
