    Everything. Really good location- a few minutes walk through a beautiful park into town. A beautiful garden that we could sit in. Lots to do and see around the area. Sharon was a great host who was waiting for us at the property when we arrived.

An 18th Century Cottage completely renovated & extended 2020 to 2023 boasting all modern amenities including WIFI, under floor heating to ensuite with power shower, spar bath. Flat screen smart TVs in every room. Whilst keeping charm and character. Professional Interior design of all rooms with alterative & very unique touches which I've sourced from all around the world, to give Park House a look which would be difficult to find in another holiday home. Boasting 2 lounges with spacious seating for 6 in both lounges with 54 inch Samsung crystal smart TVs. A wood burner in one lounge and wood burner gas effect in the other. Everything you would need and more is all installed with loving attention to detail. Open plan kitchen, with every appliance to create meals to enjoy & remember, breakfast bar and stools to chat whilst cooking in the kitchen. Leading to the dinning room with sliding doors to the outside & lounge meaning the whole party can mingle together whilst cooking, eating or watching TV. Having the 2nd lounge to chill and escape or curl up and watch a movie or read. Downstairs WC having 2 x washing machines and tumble dryers. Enjoying a "master bedroom suite" with king size bed, modern décor & flat screen smart 42 inch TV. Adjoining dressing room with vanity table, mirror & mood lighting. Leading into ensuite with spa bath, walk in shower architectural designed vanity unit & toilet with under floor heating. Two other beautiful decorated bedrooms with mass of storage plus flat screen smart TV in each. Both sharing one large walk in shower room with waterfall shower, basin sourced from a Norwegian river & WC. Off street private parking for 3 cars, with ring security cameras. Gated enclosed beautiful garden, stocked full of flowers from Spring to Autumn. With garden furniture featuring dining table & chairs for 8 to 12 , plus a swinging hammock in the summer to enjoy our well kept south facing garden enjoying long summer evenings late into the night.
I was born in Matlock, I worked and travelled abroad for many years. I have ran and continue to do so several holiday properties in Matlock & Matlock Bath. MY HOME IS YOUR HOME!!! I added Park House which was our family home to my rental portfolio, as my family have flown the nest and I'm spending less & less time in the beautiful house. I am only to happy to share with guest's. A few adaptions to storage and the house was ready to rent. I didn't want to rent a clinical box but a property with character. Hence I re decorate regular and continue to landscape the gardens each season for us all to enjoy. I love to cook dishes from all around the world and have a fully stocked spice cupboard with virtually every spice known to man. I leave this open for my guests to use as I hope my guests will make delicious food, making memories of the time spent at Park House & return year after year. As I also use Park House as my holiday home you'll find more things at your disposal than most generic holiday accommodation. I am happy for you to use bubble bath in the spa bath for a soak. I've literally tried to provided everything my guests could ask for. From a welcome pack to the wood burner fuel, which will be ready to light in the colder months. You wont find my personal belongings but you will see a few photos in frames of myself and family which welcome you and wish you a fabulous stay at our holiday home Park House.
Park House is on the corner of Park Close a private close. There is no access through for the public. Hence it is very quite and safe. Off the road parking on the property for 3 cars with ring security cameras. Park House is a great location, Located with in a 3 minute walk is 24 hour garage, Go Local shop and I would say best fish & chip shop in the country Matlock Green chip shop. The Red Lion Pub does (in my opinion) the best Sunday carvery with a great advantage of been a 5 minute walk so you can enjoy a few drinks at the same time. A quick walk of 7 minutes to centre of Matlock through Matlock's award winning park. Matlock you will find a multitude of restaurants, wine bars, pubs, cafes to eat and drink in. A lively friendly atmosphere with old world charm. Fine dinning at Stones restaurant to great quality pub grub or American dinner at Remarkable Hare & Buddies. For the night owls in Matlock you will find late night entertainment at The Loft & Monk Bar. Matlock has supermarkets from Sainsburys to M&S food hall, traditional butches, pretty boutiques stocked full of interesting stuff. Matlock antiques situated over 3 floors crammed full of weird and wonderful articles. Lots of good charity shops supporting amazing causes. Matlock is a wonderful little town approximately 13,000 population & with so much to do & see in the town & a great location for exploring the Derbyshire Dales & Peak District with good transport links by trains & buses. Very good location easy access to Matlock. Convenient and easy access to Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, markets towns of Buxton & Bakewell and walking distance from Matlock Bath & all attractions. Park House is a brilliant location to take walks directly from, leaving the car behind walk up to Lumsdales falls, Riber Castle, Tansley or Heights of Abraham in Matlock Bath. Maybe visiting the award winning independent brewery's of Lumsdale brewery or The Red Lion which are both a 3minute or 10 minute walk respectively.
