Property information

Wesley Place was built in 1800 as a Methodist Chapel & Sunday School. It was renovated in late 2023 and offers a quirky yet homely feel in the lounge with a modern design throughout the rest of the property. This 3 bed, 2.5 bath dog friendly former chapel is the perfect place for 6 guests to sleep, eat, relax and entertain. Entering the double height living room, there is a baby grand piano and quirky antique furniture. The newly renovated kitchen has a range cooker with gas burners and double electric oven. It also features a large Smeg fridge freezer and De'Longhi coffee machine that takes ESE compostable pods (2 provided per stay). The main bedroom has a super king bed and is open plan with a freestanding bath and smart TV. The second bedroom has a French double bed. The third features a single sleigh bed with a trundle bed that can be pulled out for a second single. There is also a separate shower room upstairs and a downstairs cloakroom. Outside, there are small enclosed paved courtyards at the front and back with seating and a table to the rear. Deddington is a friendly village with foodie shops, cafes & pubs. It's close to all the Cotswold attractions including Soho Farmhouse (11 min drive). Wesley Place is pet friendly for up to 2 dogs. Please read our House Rules before booking with your pet. We can also supply a travel cot & high chair for your younger guests for an additional cost. Please request these at the time of booking.

Deddington, England, United Kingdom Deddington is a quintessential village with independent shops, cafes & restaurants, all just a 2 minute walk from Wesley Place. Eagles farm shop is well worth a visit and we recommend Foodies coffee shop and the Red Lion for great fish & chips. Deddington Arms also has a great reputation for food. Deddington Castle grounds, an English Heritage site, is only a 3 minute walk away and is great for dog walking. Soho Farmhouse (members only) is 7.5 miles away, Great Tew Estate is a 12 minute drive (we recommend Falklands Arm pub & Clover cafe) and Bicester Village Designer Outlet is 12.5 miles away
