The Apartment has Sea views from the two front-facing bedrooms and views of the gardens at the property from the living area and two rear-facing bedrooms. With 2 free, on-site car parking spaces you'll be able to come and go stress-free. NOTE: 8 guests inc children (maximum 7 adults) NOTE: The Aparrtment is accessed via an external staircase with 18 steps.

David and Gareth run Cartref Guesthouse which comprises Pencartref Self-catering Apartment. The property has been fully refurbished since we took on the business in 2020 and we are now able to provide modern holiday facilities with the character of a grand Edwardian seaside residence: the best of both worlds, we hope. David's family have lived in Aberdyfi for 5 generations and we both love to share this very special place with our guests. We live on the ground floor of the property and are available to assist as much or as little as you need.

Aberdyfi is a beautiful seaside village which originally grew around the ship-building and mining industries but became a renowned resort in the Victorian era with the arrival of the train. 4 miles of sandy beach stretch from Aberdyfi to Tywyn in the west and the beach is less than 5 minutes walk from the property. Aberdyfi has a good range of artisan shops, an art gallery, pubs, bars and restaurants but retains a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere; the village centre is 5 minues walk from the property. Aberdyfi is well served by public transport with regular bus and train services: the main train station is a short walk across the road from the property and bus stops are within 2 minutes walk. The famous championship golf course is a 5 minute walk from the property. For outdoor enthusiasts, the yacht club in the village offers a range of activities. Crabbing from the jetty is always popular! Further afield, the town of Tywyn which is 4 miles away is home to the Talyllyn heritage railway and has a good range of shops including Co-op and Spar supermarkets.
