A luxury Georgian ground-floor apartment with a private patio/garden, private parking and tranquil surroundings. The grand apartment boasts period fireplaces and large traditional window seats in each room. The living room houses a 42" Smart TV with Sky Sports/Sky Cinema included, WiFi with Superfast Broadband. There is also a comfortable double sofa bed, allowing the apartment to sleep up to four. The main bedroom offers a luxury super-king bed, that can be split into two singles if required.
Working as a local Vet, I also look after our family member's Holiday Cottages. We've lived in Settle for over 10 years and hope you will love it as much as we do! We like to leave you to enjoy your holiday in peace but we're always here if you need us. Any questions, please just ask.
Treat yourselves to a meal at Sydney's in the nearby Settle, which offers a stylish yet characterful space and a menu pizza, tapas and traditional mains so there is something for all tastes. Alternatively head to The Golden Lion, a high quality gastro-pub. If you cannot wait to get back to the apartment, you can always grab some fish and chips from The Fisherman to enjoy in your home-from-home. For a spot of history the Museum of North Craven Life is just a short drive away, but if you prefer to discover on foot, take the Ingleborough Estate Nature Trail which has wooded trails leading to the Ingleborough Cave. Tour the lit caves and be sure to look out for fossils, or make your way slightly further afield to White Scar Cave the UK's longest cave. Sunny days make for the ideal day to venture out to Stainforth Force, either on foot or by car. A stunning waterfall where you may also see jumping salmon at the right time of year. Perfect for a lazy picnic or a quick dip in the right weather! Branching further afield, you can discover the delights of the Three Peaks, The Yorkshire Dales National Park, or even make your way into the beautiful Lake District town of Kendal.
