Full fibre internet. Located in the centre of town over 2 levels (1st and second floor). The property has a lovely bright lounge with sofa(bed) and chair. Tv and lamps. Fully equipped kitchen. Lovely dining room with 4 seats. Master ensuite bedroom on the 2nd floor can be made to twin singles or king size bed, second bedroom has single bed. Second full bathroom located downstairs on the first floor. Please message with your preferred bed configuration, in the main bedroom - double bed or twin beds (en-suite room). The second bedroom has a single bed. And sofa bedding can be provided but must be requested at time of booking. The property is set within a common area shared only by 2. Within a grade B listed building which has lots of original features. The property is very quiet, especially the bedroom areas where the blackout blinds and the lack of neighbours make for a peaceful sleep.
I bought this flat in the summer of 2024 and refurbished the property for use by myself and my family. When we are not using the property it is available for your use. I maintain the property to a standard which I would expect myself. Before any guests go in to the property I have a professional cleaner change all bedding, and leave fresh towels and toiletries. I travel a lot myself and I pick up ideas for the property as I travel. I always book private hosts when I travel to help support the local economy and because it gives me more freedom to wash clothes, cook and be more "at home" when away. When booking my apartment, if you request (and i'm available) I can give you a tour of the local area. I can also give recommendations on things to do, or help with planning any aspects of your trip. Just ask!
Troon is a perfect area for golfing and the beach. This property is located very close to both Troon and Barassie beach. There are 11 world class golf courses located within a short commute. Some accessible by foot. You can also easily commute by 1 train to Glasgow city centre. The train station is a very short walk away. The beaches at Troon and Barassie are great for walking, kite surfing, kayaking and wild swimming. Nearby are some great spots for sea fishing. The Arran ferry also leaves from Troon (updated summer 2024).
