Tucked away in the very heart of Hebden Bridge, this charming house, with architect-designed features offers a rare blend of town centre convenience and private outdoor space. Just a five-minute stroll from the train station and moments from the town's vibrant mix of independent shops, cafes, and amenities, the location couldn't be better. Step into the cosy living room where warmth and comfort meet thoughtful design. Built-in storage keeps everything tucked away neatly, while a neatly installed TV caters to streaming services (Netflix, Prime, NowTV) and freeview watchers. Underfloor heating adds a touch of luxury, making this the perfect space to relax. The kitchen is a well-planned delight, with integrated appliances including a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and a cleverly hidden washing machine. A range cooker and smart storage solutions - including an integrated spice cupboard - make this a highly functional yet stylish space for everyday cooking or entertaining. The master bedroom boast a superking bed, whilst the attic room offers more space for unwinding in. Bunkbeds allow for more family members and the house has plenty of space to spread out. Downstairs, the versatile garden room offers even flexibility in use plus a tucked away under-stairs desk. Also on the lower ground level is the beautifully-snug cinema room. Underfloor heating continues here, while hardwired lamps create an authentic cinema ambiance. Step outside to discover the secluded, patioed garden. This is a peaceful, private retreat perfect for morning coffee, al fresco dining or evening unwinding.
Your hosts, Kate and Ellie, both live in Hebden Bridge and are very close to help with any worries or issues. You can also get some good recommendations for local pubs, restaurants and places to explore locally.
Surrounded by breathtaking countryside, Hebden Bridge has been voted as the "fourth funkiest town in the world" best small market town in the UK and "the greatest town in Europe". From your doorstep, cobbled streets lead to independent shops, cosy cafés, and lively pubs with music spilling out into the night. Stroll the canal towpath and watch colourful barges drift by, or wander up into the hills where footpaths lead to heather-clad moors, waterfalls, and sweeping Pennine views. Hebden Bridge is one of the most welcoming small towns you’ll ever visit. Artists, writers, musicians, and makers have made it their home for decades, giving the town a unique buzz and a calendar full of events – from arts festivals and folk weekends to handmade markets and open studios. Foodies will find plenty to love too: artisan bakeries, vegetarian and vegan cafés, Yorkshire ales, and restaurants that punch well above their weight for a town of this size. Pick up local cheeses, honey, and craft gins at the weekly market, or take a picnic into Hardcastle Crags – a National Trust woodland just a short walk from town. And when the day winds down, you’re right in the centre of it all. Curl up in comfort, step out for a drink, or simply enjoy watching the town go by from your window.
