Ptarmigan is a detached bungalow situated 4 miles from Carrbridge in the Cairngorms National Park. The cottage sleeps six people and has a king-size double (zip/link) with en-suite shower room, regular double and twin, sleeping a total of six people. There is also a family bathroom with bath and shower over. There is a kitchen and dining area and a sitting room. Outside is a lawned garden to the rear and off road parking for 3 cars. Ptarmigan is a lovely getaway in a quiet location, ideal for families or groups of friends who wish to explore the Scottish highlands. Please note: access to the property is via an unmade farm track.

Neighbourhood information

The small village of Carrbridge has a great deal to offer during both the summer and winter months, with a whole host of exciting tourist attractions to explore, surrounded by beautiful mountain and moorland scenery. Situated within the Cairngorms National Park, the village is home to a pony trekking centre, a challenging 9-hole golf course and a good selection of shops and eateries.
