Our General Manager, Kate has many years experience in the hospitality business and many of our small team of staff have worked here for more than 20 years. We will do everything possible to ensure you have a relaxing break in the wonderful Lake District.

Property information

A homely feel awaits all our guests and you will always get a warm welcome from the team here at Quaysiders. Please note that the Double and Triple Rooms do not have a kitchen. If you require a kitchen then please select either the Apartments or Family Suites. No breakfast or other meals are available on-site. There are plenty of eating establishments very close by. There are no washing machines or dryers directly within the apartments or hotel rooms, but instead we have a dedicated, free to use, laundry room with 3 washers and 3 dryers. Washing powder and softner are also supplied free of charge.

Neighbourhood information

We are only 30 yards away from Lake Windermere at Waterhead which is a small suburb of Ambleside. Lake Windermere Cruises are just 100 yards from the resort. We have several restaurants and coffee shops within a few minutes walk from Quaysiders and 10 to 15 minute walk takes you into the centre of Ambleside with all it's shops, coffee shops and restaurants. There are bus stops on our doorstep so you can park up the car and explore at your leisure.
