Rainworth lodge is a beautiful place to stay with a lake and beautiful gardens The house was first built in the 1100 hundreds and was first used as a monastery. Later it was one of king Johns hunting lodges A man called Joseph Whitaker lived here was a well known naturalist. It is set back in the village of Rainworth in a hidden peaceful area very private and homely . Bedroom 1 is a spacious room, decorated in white and cream. This room comes with a comfy king size bed,  with bedding and pillows, medium firm high-quality mattress and quality fresh bedding. All the things you need for a perfect nights sleep. With an on-suite Bedroom 2 is a very spacious room. Decorated in grey, this comes with with a luxurious king size bed with bedding and pillows, medium firm high-quality mattress and quality fresh bedding. With an on-suite bathroom. All our rooms have hot drinks and biscuits for you to make and enjoy. The Lodge is close by to many tourist attractions and many local walks for further information please look on my guest book on arrival. Alternatively can look on Rainworth Lodge online. Plenty of pubs, restaurants and fast food places near by. The hot water in the sink and main radiator is on a timer water not available as often but the shower always has hot water and the electric radiator is always on to keep the room warm.

Rainworth village is located close to Mansfield, Edwinstowe, Nottingham, Southwell and Newark . Local attractions near by are Sherwood Forest, Clumber and Rufford Country Parks, Whitepost Farm, Robin Hoods Wheelgate Park, Newstead Abbey, Park Hospital,Wollaton Hall, Papplewick Pumping Station and Centre Parcs are all within easy reach. Sherwood Forest Sherwood Forest is a royal forest in Nottinghamshire, England, famous because of its historic association with the legend of Robin Hood. Nottingham also well known for: Nottinghams Castle, The Caves, The Halls of Justice, Theatres, Concert Hall FM Arena and Nottingham Ice hockey there is allot of diffrent transport options to get to Nottingham from Mansfield.
