Rosehips @Kerensa, Naburn Light and airy, with modern decor. Rosehips is a detached self contained small cottage in a quiet riverside village, only 15 minutes from York's historic tourist centre. Open plan bedroom/sitting room with separate kitchenette for self catering, and a modern shower room. French doors with views leading onto the private enclosed garden with a dining and seating area to enjoy the evening sun. Everything you need for a quiet and relaxing break. Close to the River Ouse, York Marina, cafe, pub, village shop and open countryside and river walks.

Naburn is a quiet riverside village four miles from the centre of York. Close to the city with easy transport links, 15-20 minutes by car, but away from the hustle and bustle for a quiet relaxed stay. Naburn has a village pub and York Marina is only a 2 minute walk away, for fabulous riverside views from the 'Waterfront Cafe' and restaurant. Great for breakfast, open everyday from 9am and weekend evening meals and summer events. Private boat hire is available. for cruising into York. River taxi boat into York from Naburn Lock 1 mile away and vegan cafe 'Tea by the Lock'. Village shop open Thursday to Sunday. Bus stop only 20metres away for a direct bus to York in 20 minutes. Naburn is on Sustrans cycle route 65 which is the old railway line direct to York Racecourse, and a flat 30 minute bike ride to York centre. Countryside walks along the route in both directions for open field views, sunsets over the River Ouse via the Iron Bridge, and 1 hour riverwalks into York via Bishopthorpe and the Bishop's Palace. Easy access to driving routes to the North York Moors, areas of outstanding natural beauty, theme parks, historical sites and houses such as Castle Howard, The Yorkshire Dales, and the Yorkshire coast, with picturesque fishing towns such as Whitby, are an hour away. York has great train links with London under 2 hours. Manchester and Leeds. Two miles to York Designer outlet, with park & ride available to York . 15 minutes to York racecourse by car/taxi.
