I feel in love with this house in 2017 and had the plan to convert it from a family home to a B&B from day one. I live here with my dog and spend a lot of my time busy with B&B, pottery and gardening. I have drawn ideas from my travel experience around the world to create a B&B which has everything you need to a 5* standard. I aim to provide my guests with a memorable but restful stay here at Saddlers.

Property information

Welcome to Saddlers B&B, an award winning B&B located in the charming rural village of Funtington near Chichester and Goodwood, West Sussex. ​ Saddlers offers 3 double bedrooms, varying in size from: 1 deluxe large (Goodwood), 1 large (Brooklands) and 1 medium (Le Mans) all with en-suite facilities. A ground floor Snug where a warm log fire is lit for chilly evenings plus an English country garden filled with mature plants, roses and trees for relaxation, where you can also have breakfast in the summer sunshine months. Great effort is made to provide guests with locally sourced produce such as Funtington honey, sausages and bacon. Saddlers is in a prime location for guests to explore all that West Sussex has to offer and via social media we give regular updates about life at Saddlers, the local hot spots and upcoming local events. We offer special deals and rates when booking directly with us via our own website.

Neighbourhood information

West Wittering and other fabulous beaches are 20-30 mins away, Goodwood, Chichester and Bosham all 10 mins away, and have some beautiful woodland walks on our doorstep. Funtington is a picturesque village set in the foothills of the Southdown National Park. We have a 4 delightful country pubs near by. 1. Fox & Hounds - 5 mins walk 2. Hallidays Restaurant - 2 mins walk 3. The Richmond Arms, an award winning pub - 2 mins drive 4. Horse & Groom 1 mins drive. All serve fabulous food with a relaxing countryside atmosphere and take-away options. Kingley Vale National Park is 20 mins walk / 3 mins drive from Saddlers and hosts Europe's oldest Yew trees and offers incredible views of Sussex & Isle of Wight (on a clear day). We have a fantastic farm shop in the village and a superb farm round the corner selling their produce (sausages and bacon are amazing) as well as Adsdean Farm shop where you can buy their own meat produce.
