This is a luxury, two bedroom apartment in Bangor West. It is a split-level apartment; the sitting room, kitchen and bathroom are downstairs and the two double bedrooms are upstairs. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite shower and toilet, and the other bedroom has use of a bathroom in the adjoining hallway. The apartment is part of a small residential block of 6 apartments. It is quiet and private and parking facilities are available. You will be welcomed to the apartment with homemade scones and jam. Sea Breeze apartment is rated 4 Star by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
I am originally from Donegal and I moved to Bangor approximately 20 years ago after spending a number of years in England and Australia. I am an artist and my work is regularly exhibited in galleries across Ireland. I have hung some of my work in the apartment for guests to enjoy. An interesting artefact in the apartment is the wooden box structure fixed to the sitting room wall. The piece originated from Battersea Power Station in London during its renovations.
All local attractions (restaurants, bars, marina, train station, golf club, sailing club, sea angling, Aurora 50 metre swimming pool) are within 5-10 minutes walk. There are stunning coastal walks, and Game of Thrones Winterfell Castle is a short drive away. Bangor is positioned at the entrance to the Ards Peninsula, which has lovely drives and interesting towns to visit, such as Portaferry which has an aquarium worth visiting. Belfast city centre and George Best city airport are a 20 minute train ride away. The Mourne mountains are approximately an hour's drive away, as are the Antrim Glens and the Dark Hedges.
