    Lovely place and great view from th balcony, although it got little sun perhaps due to the time of year. Everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Location was perfect and the place was very clean.

Nearest grocery shops & pharmacy: - Westward Ho! Village has a Spar, a Londis and a Tesco Express. There is also a butcher, a bakery and a hardware shop. Larger supermarkets are in Bideford. - Asda, Aldi and Lidls are on Clovelly Road and Tesco on Manteo Way and Morrisons on Kingsley Way. Recommended local restaurants, cafes or places to go out: - Westward Ho! Has many restaurants within walking distance of the property. The Pier House has beautiful views and great food (walk down to the sea and turn left along the promenade). - If you turn right at the promenade Morans is a well rated family run Thai. Next to it is Atlantic Bay Fish and Chips. The Fairway Buoy is a large pub on the waterfront. - The Drift,The Waterfront Inn, Rock Pool cafe, The Gullemot, A Slice of Life cafe,Tea on the Green and many more are situated close to the village green. - Appledore has some great pubs (The Royal George and The Beaver) and cafes (Market Street Kitchen, The Coffee Cabin, John’s) and is a lovely walk either via the beach (low tide only) or the Burroughs or a short drive. Nearest Transport Links & Directions to the Property: Leave the M5 at junction 27 and take the A361 towards Barnstaple and then the A39 (the Atlantic Highway) to Bideford. After crossing the spectacular Torridge Bridge, turn right at the roundabout on to the A386 towards Northam, Appledore and Westward Ho!. In Westward Ho! follow the Atlantic Way (B3236) and turn right on to Merley Road and then turn immediately right into Golden Bay Holiday Village. Continue through the first carpark. The property is on the right in the second carpark in a row of blue two storey houses. Stagecoach bus services from Westward Ho serve Bideford and Appledore (number 16) and Barnstaple and Ilfracombe (number 21).
