    Quiet location, good sized bedrooms. Enjoyed sitting in the little front porch area with views out of the water. Nice modern kitchen. Very well heated house! Nice place to stay and walk down to Talmine Bay, just be prepared for the steep walk back...

    The location was perfect. Gorgeous views and incredibly quiet. The house was comfy and clean. Modern kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend. Wish we’d stayed an extra night on our NC500 trip.

    Comfortable stay, easy door operation via code. Locations was different from expected, beach a good walk from location over a couple of fields. Property a little tired and dated, could do with a wee refresh considering price of one night stay.

During your stay you will have beautiful sea views of the Kyle of Tongue with golden sand beaches only a short walk away. There is a small store for essentials under a mile away and another one a few miles away in Tongue. The closest restaurant is a very short walk away and there are a couple of other dining options in Tongue. The dramatic landscape is home to several lochs as well as the impressive Ben Loyal and Ben Hope mountains. Smoo Cave, Cape Wrath and Castle of Mey are some of the spectacular places to drive to, or perhaps go on a longer adventure with a day trip to the Orkney Islands from John O’Groats.
