South Lodge is a beautiful gatehouse on a stunning Highland estate, looking over Ben Nevis, close to Loch Lochy. The cottage is a beautifully renovated bungalow which features a cosy, well appointed lounge with a wood burning stove and smart TV, a king size room and a twin room, both tastefully decorated with a large bathroom with bath and over bath shower and a beautiful, spacious, modern kitchen. There is also a big, lockable garage/ shed outside to store any paddleboards, bikes etc.
This is such a charming cottage in a truly special location, just a ten minute drive to Spean Bridge and a ten minute walk to the shore of Loch Lochy. Glenfintaig Estate consists of 4000 acres of wildlife, rich forests, sparkling loch views and plenty of lovely walks and cycles, all in a truly peaceful setting. We are a 25 minute drive from Fort William and are surrounded by hills and lochs to hike, bike and kayak on.
