You'll find a shop in 0.8 miles and a pub in 0.7 miles. Steel Works Farm is a charming base for a countryside escape to Herefordshire. Note: The spiral staircase is steep. The community of Gorsley is located on the northern side of the Royal Forest of Dean, close to the borders of Herefordshire, Worcestershire, and Gloucestershire. May Hill and Malvern Hills tower over the village, while the Brecon Beacons can be seen in the distance. In addition to a thriving free house pub and restaurant known for serving the best Nepalese food in the county and beyond, Gorsley has a well-stocked village store with a Post Office and an off-licensing area. While the village is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is bordered by established woodlands with a number of well-liked walks, the Three Choirs Way and Herefordshire Trail pass by nearby.
