Conveniently located in the heart of Strangford village, this 2 bedroom apartment is sure to appeal to those looking for a tranquil, coastal get-a-away. Situated in an area of outstanding beauty and with the lough on your doorstep, Strangford village has in recent years become an increasingly desirable and fashionable location. This apartment is within walking distance of an array of restaurants, pubs, amenities and local attractions.
We have been a frequent user of Air BnB whilst we have been working away for the past 10 years. Barry grew up outside Stangford and his dad was born there. We currently live 4 miles from the area and life beside the shore has been great for walks, swimming and so much more outdoor activities. We hope our guests will love this location as much as we do and return.
Just a stone's throw from Belfast City, you'll find a nature-lover's paradise around Strangford and the Lough where it is situated. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, take a stroll around this tranquil spot and listen to the voices of the locals; birds chatter in the treetops, seals splash playfully and geese skim their wings on the water. Spend a day on the water kayaking, sailing, canoeing, surfing and swimming. Enjoy historic visits to Down Catherdral and the Nendrum monastic site. Visit iconic structures in the surrounding area and the impressive Castleward is on your doorstep, where Game of Thrones fans will feel right at home. Eating out is simply amazing with some fantastic restaurants in the local village. The Artisan Cookhouse and The Cuan are definitely worth a visit. The Barn Country Bar and Restaurant is a short distance away and is serves some great reasonably priced food. The locals rave how good the Guinness is. Situated in a quiet and quite mostly residential development of outstanding beauty and the lough at your doorstep, Strangford village has in recent years become a desirable and fashionable location and this cosy apartment is within walking distance of the array of local restaurants, pubs, amenities and local attractions.
