    Great location for walks and the ferry to Lundy. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable, the best use has been made of the space available. Although in the centre of Bideford, the area is very quiet as no through traffic. Friendly hosts.

Just a few metres from the South West Coast Path, The Studio at Church House is a light and airy, self contained apartment in a listed Georgian town house. Situated in the conservation area of Bideford, close to both the estuary and shops, The Studio is perfect for walkers/cyclists with easy access to the Tarka Trail and coastal path. With a variety of spectacular North Devon Beaches only a short drive away, the apartment is great for those seeking a summer holiday full of outdoor activities. (Please be aware that there is no outside space. There is, however, a garden bench near the front door of the Studio.) Although the Studio does not have its own parking, there are a number of carparks close by. Once booked we'll send you extensive details. Disabled people are very welcome but please note that there are three steps down into The Studio without a hand rail. Please see the photo of the steps.
Bideford was once the third largest port in England and is steeped in history. The area is a must for watersports, sailing enthusiasts and fishermen, whilst walkers and cyclists will enjoy the famous Tarka Trail and The South West Coast Path which passes close by. Further afield, the rugged North Devon coastline and wonderful surfing beaches of Croyde and Woolacombe are just a short drive away. North Devon is well positioned for visits to Exmoor, Dartmoor and North Cornwall including the local beauty spots of Bucks Mills, Clovelly and Hartland. With so much to explore in this lovely part of North Devon, this is the perfect base for a memorable holiday. Golf is available locally. There are also day trips to Lundy Island from Bideford and Ilfracombe. There is an excellent choice of restaurants locally as well as in the villages of Instow and Appledore which are just a short drive away.
