Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located first floor apartment with the added bonus of gated parking, allocated parking space and a lift to the first floor! You can't get more central as Whiting street is in the Medieval Grid, where shops, bars and restaurants are less than one minute away. The open plan socialising space is to the front of the property and bedrooms to the rear. Travel cot and highchair can be made available if requested at time of booking Free of Charge. Single fold out Z bed can be available with bedding at a small additional cost if requested in advance of stay (suitable for children), however, the bed will need to be used in the main living area due to limited space within the 2 main bedrooms. Unlike our apartment, very few central properties have the bonus of parking, a lift and an outside courtyard, so it's pretty special!
Hi, I’m Claire and I live in the town with my husband, teenage children and golden-doodle named Murphy. I've previously supported another property as a co-host, so I have experience of guest stays in the area. Please let me know if you have any queries before and during your stay so that I can assist you to make your stay the best it can be. This first floor property was renovated in 2020 to provide an open plan stylish apartment in a Georgian building. The property has high ceilings and lots of natural light from ceiling to floor windows which show off the modern kitchen. Both Claire and Alison can be contacted during your stay in case of any concerns. Contact details are provided within the Guest Welcome booklet located inside the property, along with helpful information on the property and surrounding area.
The property is centrally located within the Medieval Grid and a stones through away from pubs, wine bars, bakery and cafes within a 30 second walk door to door. Within 30 seconds you are amongst the central area which is bustling with market stalls on a Wednesday and Saturday and once a month on a Sunday for a Farmers Market. The Arc shopping centre and Apex Venue is approximately 2 minutes walk and easy access to the Abbey Gardens and Theatre Royal. The UKs smallest Pub (The Nutshell) is less than a minute from the property. Bury St Edmunds town centre, Abbey Gardens, Cathedral, Theatre Royal, shops and restaurants are all within easy walking distance of the property and perfect for exploring the historic architecture on foot. Just behind the main market area and individual boutique shops is a newer shopping area known as the Arc shopping centre, and introducing the well known retail outlets such as Next, Hobbs, H&M, in addition to the Apex (Venue for concerts/performances/comedy). The property has one allocated parking space within a gated entrance opposite the apartment. Additional vehicles can use the Long Stay car parks located around the town.
