Here’s a quaint and rather unique one bedroom detached house in Itchenor that reflects the region's nautical links. You’ll see that as soon as you pull up into your private off-road parking space, thanks to the seafaring weather vane that sits atop the house above a window that could well be a porthole in a ship! Enter through the front door and you’re into a snug and sophisticated world that reflects the modern preference for open plan living. The lounge and kitchen area is a prime example, featuring a sofa and twin armchairs, plus breakfast bar stools. There’s a wall-mounted flat-screen TV in here to keep you entertained on those occasions you’re not out enjoying the local attractions. And the kitchenette is fully equipped with quality appliances that will help you live more like you do when you’re home, including a microwave, stovetop and fridge/freezer. (Please note there is no oven.) There’s also the bonus of a downstairs loo, handy if you don’t want to head upstairs. And that's where you’ll find the home’s bedroom, beautifully presented, of course, with a double bed offering somewhere tranquil to rest after a long day at sea or by the sea. There’s an ensuite shower room with WC and washbasin in here, so you can freshen up at the end of each day, or at the start of each new one, so you’re ready to discover more of the joys of staying in Itchenor.

Welcome to Itchenor, a village in West Sussex with a long sailing history. It’s famed for its yachting facilities and sailing club, so if you’re in the region for a sailing event or occasion, staying in this quiet and attractive 1 bedroom house will really make your stay special. You’ll be able to walk to the sailing club from the house, and handily, there’s a pub within easy walking distance too. If you’re bringing your car, then you’ll have a variety of places close by that you can visit (or order a cab to get there): Goodwood - for the Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood and other race meetings from May to October. Chichester - a popular city for shopping, eating and drinking, and it has its own cathedral too. Chichester Harbour - you can book boat trips here or catch the Itchenor Ferry. West Wittering - there are miles of sandy beaches for the whole family to enjoy here. You can even enjoy a coastal walk from Itchenor all the way here, one of the many walks you might like to try in the area.
