    Such a lovely flat! Is an easy 5 minute walk into the centre. The flat had everything we needed and was the perfect size for 2 people. I would highly recommend. The guide the owners sent was also very helpful and informative. I would stay again.

A comfy, cosy bolthole with the gentle charms of Bowness-on-Windermere on your doorstep. Perfect for a couples’ getaway. The apartment is set in a quiet residential area 2 minutes walk from the centre. Bowness has a lively café culture and fabulous, independent small shops. Stroll along the lake side or take a scenic boat trip to Waterhead, Ambleside or to Lakeside. Our flat is tucked away off a private drive within an easy walk of the popular town of Bowness-on-Windermere. Accessed from the front, step into the porch with plenty of storage and through to the brand new open plan kitchen and living room. The flat has been recently renovated and consists of a well equipped kitchen with everything you might need during your stay. With and addition of a washing machine as well as a dishwasher. One comfy double bedroom with built in wardrobe and a dressing table makes this flat perfect for two people wishing to explore Bowness-on-Windermere. Bathroom consists of modern rainfall shower, hand basin and W.C. The whole flat has an underfloor heating throughout which makes it super warm and cosy on the colder days. Wifi and Netflix are also included

Neighbourhood information

Bowness and her nearby neighbour Windermere, have a bustling high street providing plenty of amenities from every day shopping and supermarkets, health centre and a broad variety of shops, high quality restaurants, cafes and other amenities, including a seasonal theatre, cinema, golf club, motorboat and yacht club. Getting around Buses are available in Bowness to all areas of the Lake District. There is a train station in Windermere, 5 minutes drive away for trains to all parts of the country. Taxis are readily available. Guests can also enjoy leisure boat trips along Windermere Lake or hire a motor or rowing boat. Set within the heart of the National Park and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, ever popular Bowness has good access to local road networks and junction 36 can be reached within 20 minutes whilst the rail links from Windermere filtering to the main line at Oxenholme provide speedy access to Edinburgh, Manchester and to London Euston in less than 3 hours.
