From the Heights of Abraham, where you can see the rolling countryside from up high, to an abundance of stately homes, all the way through to beautiful footpaths and bicycle trails. Immerse yourself in the history of the Peak District and visit Chatsworth House, which contains over 30 rooms full of elegant interiors to explore, alongside one of Europe's most significant art collections. You can wonder around the gardens too, which are known for their historic and modern sculptures and waterworks, or get lost in the maze and Victorian rock garden. The small villages located on the Estate of Chatsworth also have plenty to offer too - from Chatsworth Farm Shop in Pilsley, the beautiful Edensor Tea Cottage in Edensor, or the infamous Devonshire Arms in Beeley. Haddon Hall has over 900 years of history. The hall is brimming with history, with a remarkable tapestry collection, an early English furniture collection, the Elizabethan walled gardens and much more to explore, Haddon Hall will take you back in time and is a wonderful place for a family day out. For a fun family day out, Matlock Farm Park is within driving distance and offers lots of family fun.
