Tegid Lodge is situated on the edge of the lake within Pine Lake Resort near Carnforth. This lake side lodge is a home from home. It has a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, built in oven and microwave, a fridge and freezer. All linen and towels are provided for guests. This beautiful tranquil lodge offers glorious views over the lake. Guests can enjoy the spa, water sports, swimming pool and gym. There is an on-site bar and restaurant that offers a lovely choice of dishes. Or simply sit on the terrace and enjoy the company of the ducks, swans, geese, oyster catchers, sparrows, rabbits.......! The lodge has unlimited free WiFi, TV and DVD player.
Jack and I live in Lancashire, not too far away. We've been visiting Pine Lake with our family for over 20 years and this is our happy place. We are really excited to be able to own beautiful Tegid Lodge, and to share it with you. We look forward to making your stay a memorable one. We are sure you will enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the many places to visit close by.
Pine Lake is the perfect base to explore this lovely corner of the world. Within easy reach are the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, Arnside and Silverdale, Morecambe Bay, and the Forest of Bowland. Pine Lake has its own bus stop and the 555 service runs between Lancaster and Windermere. This is a lovely way to sit back and relax and enjoy the scenery en route. At Carnforth station (the location of the film Brief Encounter), trains run to Barrow-in-Furness. This is a beautiful line tracking Morecambe Bay and over the estuaries. We like to take this train to Ulverston, good for shopping and lunch. Trains also run to Lancaster, Leeds and Manchester Airport.
