Bickleigh Cottage, Listed Grade II, is the archetypal picture-postcard cottage, a pretty, thatched cottage sitting on the banks of the River Exe with great access to Exeter 11 miles and Tiverton 4 miles on the A396 that passes past the cottage The original house was built in the 17th Century And had been used as a guest house for many years. The Annex is a beautiful 2 bed 2 bathroom cottage with an excellent Kitchen and Living room over looking the river Ex. Please be advised The Annex is a 400-year-old cottage. It is located on a fairly busy road and sometimes there will be traffic noise. This road though does give great links to Exeter and to Tiverton. The house is adjoined to our own property and although we try and keep noise to a minimum this can't be completely removed. Whilst we welcome people to bring dogs to the property we do ask that dogs are not left unattended within the property. This is due to previous damage and also dogs left constantly to bark. We have tried to provide all the facilities that someone may require for a comfortable stay. We are not a hotel, and some things may be a bit quirky and different.
