The Annex has been newly renovated to a high standard. It has been thoughtfully set up to welcome guests who want a private, compact room. (PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BOOKING; the bed length is wall to wall and measures 190cm (small double). The Annex is adjoined to our house so the occasional bark or baby noise may be heard. It is a self-contained space with its own entrance and has a shower room, parking and decking area. Complimentary tea, Nespresso coffee and milk is provided. There are two steps from the driveway down to the level of The Annex. Internally, The Annex is all on one level. The parking space is an off-road private driveway and suitable for a car sized vehicle only (see photos). We also have an external secure wall mounted bracket to lock bicycles to if arriving by bike. You will require your own chain and lock. Guests can check in at their leisure (no later than 9pm on the check in day, later by request). Locally, there is a Co-Op food store within 5 minutes walk. The closest pub, The Royal Oak Inn, is a 2 minute walk. Whilst we have guests booked, we keep ourselves out of the way and give our guests the privacy they would like. Having 20 years experience of working in the hospitality industry, I decided to take to rent out our private annex conversion and manage another property in Lostwithiel. It's great fun hosting and ensuring guests get the best out of their stay. Lostwithiel is a beautiful place to stay and explore the countryside and coast nearby.
Lostwithiel is a quiet ancient town in Cornwall with the River Fowey flowing through. There is a small supermarket, indépendant shops, restaurants and pubs.
