Property information

The Belfry is a converted Victorian School, the foundation stone having been laid by Lady Elliott-Drake in 1872. We just have 6 en-suite B&B rooms and breakfast is in one of the old classrooms. Although our restaurant is now closed due to a back injury Chef incurred in 2016, we do have 6 fabulous places to eat in less than 4.5 miles!!!,

Neighbourhood information

The Candlelight Inn at Bishopswood is just 4 miles away (and worth Every Yard!) and winner of Somerset Life Magazine, Somersets Best Gastro Pub 2015. Rolling Devon countryside, The Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounds Yarcombe, a small village just 1/2 mile off the A303. We are 20 minutes from the coast - Lyme Regis and Sidmouth and 10 minutes from Honiton - Antiques Galore!
