The Bolt Hole is a large self contained, open plan space. It has a sleeping area witha king size bed - for additional guests (children) there is option of 1 or 2 Z-beds to be placed in the room There is a lounge and a kitchen unit which houses the microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster etc. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink and WC. Your accommodation is superbly located in St Martin, a mile from the town (Looe) and has level access and parking right outside the front door. In addition there are footpaths from the property all the way to Looe and a bus stop is located at the end of the driveway allowing access to Looe and Polperro in one direction and Plymouth in the other. The fabulous Millendreath Beach is just a 20 minute walk from the property where the South West Coast Path can be taken towards Seaton or Looe.
If you are exploring SE Cornwall for the first time then I can assist with local information about places to go and great places to eat. If you are looking to walk the SW Coast path I can almost certainly provide lifts to start points for your walk back “home”. Happy to make efforts to book restaurants in advance of your stay and can also help with boat trips from Looe as the skipper of the charter fishing boat “Bee Cool” is family!!!
Looe is a busy seaside and fishing harbour town, there are footpaths from the accommodation which lead to the Looe Walking Route to access the town and all its restaurants, shops and bars. Its all downhill to reach the town but a challenging uphill walk on the way back! Millendreath and Seaton beaches are also within easy reach, and slightly further afield are the quaint fishing port of Polperro, the wide open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the fabulous Eden Project and a multitude of beautiful beaches and costal towns and villages. The property is easy to find as it is adjacent to St Martin Road - the primary route into Looe from the A38/Tamar Bridge. Parking is easy with private driveway parking space immediately outside the front door of The Bolt Hole. There is a bus stop is at the end of the drive with buses heading to Looe and Polperro in one direction and Liskaerd and Plymouth in the other. Please note for those guests who want to bring their dog (maximum of 2) there is charge payable to the hosts on arrival.
