The bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin, and WC, plus a separate cloakroom. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included. Outside is an enclosed rear decking area with furniture and public parking nearby. No pets or smoking. Shop 5 miles, pub 5.3 miles. Please note: steep stairs, path to beach from rear garden. Due to the property's location and access route, it may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. May–Aug: Friday–Friday 7-night bookings only. The royal burgh and parish of Fife is an agricultural community positioned alongside the salmon fishing waters of the River Tay, overlooking the marshy Mugdrum Island. To the east lies the ancient Lindores Abbey, a historical and overgrown ruin left to be uncovered. There are plenty of attractions nearby such as, the Lindores Abbey Distillery for whisky lovers, the National Trust's Balmerino Abbey with its atmospheric 13th-century ruins and the Backhouse Rossie Estate, an RHS Partner Garden with rare plants, woodland walking and children's trails. The Tentsmuir National Nature Reserve at Morton Lochs offers something for everyone, an ever changing landscape with seals hauling themselves out of the water, hungry birds looking for food and a rich variety of nature's wonders. Though the village of Newburgh may be small, there are many treasures drawing in visitors; the remains of Macduff's Cross are a historical landmark to discover, Newburgh Sailing Club and Laing Museum featuring antiquarian artefacts of Newburgh's Alexander Laing.
