One bedroom guest accommodation situated on Castle Street, the main street, in the picturesque village of Strangford. The apartment is encompassed within an historic listed Georgian building with it's own private access and decked area to the rear within a walled courtyard. The accommodation has a spacious open-plan, living / dining / kitchen area (fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster) with a double bedroom and en-suite bathroom. It has been tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard to offer superb and comfortable accommodation for all visitors. The property has free wi-fi throughout.
Castle Street in the heart of Strangford Village in County Down on the shores of Strangford Lough. The apartment is only a minute walk from all local shops, pubs, restaurants and the ferry terminal across to Portaferry and walking distance from the Castle Ward estate, a National Trust property which also hosts an adventure Centre and is home to Winterfell, Game Of Thrones tours. An excellent base to enjoy all that Strangford Lough and the surrounding area has to offer - canoeing, mountain biking, archery, fishing, golf, boating, seal watching......... Newcastle is only a 30 minute drive away. This seaside town sits at the foot of the Mourne mountains and is home to Royal County Down Golf Course.
