Self-catering hideaway in the grounds of The Albannach.
Our newly created Scandi sanctuary has everything you need for a relaxed, self-sufficient retreat in the Scottish wilderness.
Wander our small woodland garden, bring your paddle boards and use The Albannach slipway or explore the wild landscape further afield, returning back to your peaceful abode.
3 nights minimum stay.
Retired hotelier in the Scottish Highlands. Love sharing this magical place with my guests.
The main house is at the other end of the garden and I can usually be reached for any reason.
The village of Lochinver is on the other side of the Loch and a scenic 20 minutes walk away. It is very well served with several restaurants and cafes.
There are two well stocked local shops for groceries. The closest (small) supermarket is in Ullapool.
There is exquisite solitude to be found all year round, with pristine wilderness in all directions.
For dinner at local restaurants I highly recommend booking well in advance. There are a couple of great spots for outdoor eating and takeaway which do not require booking.
There is an electric car charging point in the village.
