Newly refurbished Central Apartment right in the Heart of Oban, Argyll Square round the corner, only a 2 minute walk from Obans Train, Bus Stations & Ferry Terminal. Fully Furnished apartment with New Modern decor designed to a traditional Maritime "Old Oban" theme. Located above the site of Obans 1st ever Public House, a Drovers Inn from the 1600s called "Tigh Clach a Gheodha" - House of The Creek-Stone (now Aulays Bar), this 2nd floor uniquely curved apartment includes 3 x Different views: Obans Main Street, part Sea View of Kerrera & Mull, clear view of Obans Colloseum icon - Mccaigs Tower.
A local family man who is born and bread in Oban. Work on behalf of the company Cors Properties Ltd. Previously worked internationally in Global Energy Industries. Having travelled throughout Europe, Africa, North America, Brazil, Asia and Australia means an experienced traveller who has stayed in a great variety of accommodations. I know what guests expect when staying somewhere and how vital good, clean, comfortable, quality, peaceful and safe accommodation in a perfect location is to travellers. When you stay at The Den, you have an entire top floor apartment with two compact bedrooms, an Open-Plan Lounge/Kitchen with full HD Smart Sky TV and dining area, full kitchen (fridge, Oven, Hob, Washing Machine) and bathroom with splendid walk-in shower.
The Den is located right in the heart of Oban, right on your doorstep you will have multiple shops, cafes, take-aways and restaurants (many specialising in seafood) as well as great pubs and whisky shops. It is not too far from Oban's most famous landmark, McCaig's Tower, which has commanding views over the Firth of Lorn over to Mull. The Creek-Stone Den is only a 5 Minute walk up the Main Street from Obans Malt Whisky Distillery.The Creek-Stone Den is just around the corner (2 minutes walking distance) of Oban's travel terminal catering for all forms of public transport - trains to and from Glasgow, buses, taxis and ferries to the Islands of the Inner Hebrides. On-street metered parking is available for up to 2hrs from 9am till 6pm (free outside those times and Sunday morning). There are also other municipal car park options within 5 minutes walk (costs differ depending on time depending on time of year).
