The Cuckoo's Retreat is a brand new spacious, romantic and peaceful hideaway with with all the modern luxury you would need for a restful stay in beautiful Cornwall, launched March 2024. The Cuckoo's Retreat is just 20 minutes from either coast in the quiet leafy suburbs of Kenwyn, Truro, 10 minutes walk from the city centre, the Hall for Cornwall, the stunning Idless Woods and surrounding countryside. The Cuckoo’s Retreat is ideally located for transport being only 10 mins walk from both Truro train and bus stations, probably the best location for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer.
Keryn also offers decoration packages for birthdays, weddings, engagements and anniversaries to make your special occasion even more memorable. Local fresh hampers can also be provided. Please do get in touch if you’d like to know more about these services. Keryn’s artwork and handmade jewellery is also available to purchase on site if you’d like to take a little piece of Cornwall home with you. Should you require anything at all during your stay please do contact Keryn.
The neighbourhood is quiet and very safe. We are surrounded by countryside and yet only 5 mins walk from town. There are great bars, restaurants and shops in town, with a market every Wednesday and Saturday. Local beaches are close by and the river is 10 mins walk away. The area is great for walking and cycling with Idless Woods nearby too if you fancy going off road.
