Outside, there is a garden with patio, gravel, lawn, and furniture, plus private, off-road parking for three cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcome, but sorry, strictly no smoking. Shop 1.1 miles, pub 1.6 miles, river 0.7 miles. Escape to the countryside with a stay at The Gables. Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping Bond of 250.

Neighbourhood information

Nether Stowey is a village found in the county of Somerset, near the Quantock Hills which is an AONB. The older part of the village is in a conservation area, with a long and interesting history and wide range of architecture, with the oldest buildings being nearly of medieval origin, now carefully restored. The village is home to three pubs and a collection of shops, including a butchers and a small restaurant. The village is also famous for its links with the romantic poets Samuel Taylor Coleridge and William Wordsworth. Nether Stowey is a pretty village perfect for a break away to take in some local history and explore the Somerset headland.
