'The Garage' is a small annex attached to the main house. It has a separate entrance and key lock so you are completely independent, although we are occasionally around to help you, if needed. It is small and cosy which is both warm (under floor heating) and homely. The annexe is ideal for a night away or a couple of nights as it has some facilities that mean that you can be self sufficient. It has a bed and mattress topper which comfortably sleeps two, along with 2 pillows. a duvet and sheets .There are a couple of spare pillows in the cupboard. The annex also hosts a microwave, mini fridge, toaster, kettle and crockery. Tea, coffee and milk are provided as well as biscuits. There is a very handy co-op being 100m away which provides for all your needs. A chest of drawers and hooks are available for your clothes. Table and chairs for eating or using your laptop. A television for your relaxation. WiFi. It has a modern bathroom with a shower and towels are provided. The Garage is ideally situated for beautiful dog woods, visiting National Trust properties, historic Wimborne Minster, beaches and the Jurassic coast.
My husband and I are both keen travellers and spend our holidays travelling both in this country and abroad. We have had lots of experiences staying in different accommodation and really wanted offer a space for travellers to stay so that they can enjoy our local area. We're both keen sports people and spend a lot of our free time running, cycling and sea swimming as well as walking our Cocker Spaniel 'Stella'.
'The Garage' is set in a quiet neighbourhood which is very close to Cannon Hill Woods and Whitesheet Plantation, ideal for dog walks. One mile and half from 'The Garage' is the lovely historic town of Wimborne Minster. There are numerous pubs, restaurants and excellent coffee shops in Wimborne as well as the magnificent Minster, itself. Slightly further afield is the beautiful Kingston Lacy National Trust House and gardens ( 3 miles), the beautiful beaches of Poole (Sandbanks- 8 miles away) and Bournemouth ( 8 miles ) as well as the Jurassic Coast (12 miles ).
