The Gate Lodge at Dunnanew is a 4 Star Self Catering cottage located in the tranquil countryside of County Down, Northern Ireland. Recently renovated to the highest of standards, and refurbished with all NEW furniture and fixings, the Gate Lodge at Dunnanew provides the perfect location for a family get away or a romantic break. Some of the original features of the property have been preserved, giving you that country cottage feel the moment you step inside. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 5. With an electric gated entrance, the spacious and secure garden to the front and rear provides a an idyllic setting to enjoy the sunshine all day long. The garden can also be closed off further ensuring children can enjoy the space close by the outside patio. The private onsite parking can hold up to 3 cars. Located just a 10 minutes drive from both Downpatrick and Newcastle and a 50 minutes drive from Belfast, the Gate Lodge at Dunnanew is sure to have something for everyone.
As someone who loves being outdoors and the countryside, it excites me to be able to share some of that with you through The Gate Lodge at Dunnanew. County Down has always been my home and every suggestion in the guest book has been tried and tested by myself- from hiking in the Mourne Mountains to the local chip shops!
The neighbourhood is quiet and tranquil and surrounded by farms. Nearby attractions include: Seaforde Tropical Butterfly House and Gardens Million Tree Woods Walkway Mountpanther Farm Park
