Set right in the heart of Grantown-on-Spey, the property is in the main Square above the bakers and is accessed via a private entrance and staircase. Set over 2 floors it has a lounge, kitchen, 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath with shower over. The main bedroom is on the 2nd floor with a double bed. The 2nd bedroom is on the 2nd floor and has a single bed. Bedroom 3 is on the 1st floor next to the lounge with a double bed. In the kitchen everything is provided, crockery, cutlery, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, oven, hob, tea and coffee making facilities. This is a traditional building newly renovated with modern features but it still retains all the traditional features that you can´t find elsewhere. Views over the main Square and the hills. Grantown is the gateway to the Whisky Trail and has beautiful scenery and access to all forms of outdoor sports. In the entrance hallway at street level there is a space to store bicycles. Due to the 2 sets of stairs this is not a suitable property for some people with disabilities or reduced mobility.
Simon & Sharon are based in Grantown-on-Spey and live close by. We have been here since 1991 and have raised our family here. Now into the 3rd generation we trust that you will enjoy the area as much as we do. We love to cycle through the community owned Anagach Woods which are 5 minutes on foot from the flat. You can go for miles and there is also a terrain park in the woods for the more adventurous. We also love to ski and snowboard in the winter. We look forward to welcoming you into our flat.
Grantown-on-Spey is the capital of Speyside, the heart of whisky country. Set in the Cairngorm National Park you will struggle to find a more picturesque locale. The Square right in front of the property hosts various events throughout the year including the famous New Year celebration.
