The Greyhound was established in 1619 as a coaching Inn and has looked after travellers for almost all of this time.

Property information

The Greyhound is a beautifully renovated 18th century coaching inn with fantastic views across the to the fells. Very easy access from main travel routes and plenty of parking. Serving local ales, crisp lager, fine wines, fabulous G&Ts and fantastic fresh pub food. The bar is a great atmospheric place to drink and dine, and the rooms are just what you need to relax after good day's walking or travelling.

The Greyhound is perfectly situated for walking and accessing the Lake District. it is very quickly accessible from the M6 with stunning wild views. it is right on the coast to coast route, making it very popular with walkers.
